The Reasons Why...

One day at a time for the last thirteen years these people have encouraged me to become a better person. I'm not sure they would say that, but that's my reality. My moment of clarity was real simple, "if you keep doing what you're doing, you're gonna lose your kids." Ok.

Today, I have a great life. John is an amazing husband. The kids make me laugh. And because I want sobriety more than I don't, I'll keep coming back.

    Congratulations, Julia!! What a wonderful milestone. I love, love, love this post. It is so beautiful. The pictures are perfect--and I can't believe how quickly things change and everyone grows up! Wasn't it just yesterday I was at your home on Lindenwood Ave for a wonderful 4th of July barbeque? So glad I've known you and your family these past years.
